At Sea
Days at sea with Source are often a favorite among our travelers, offering a perfect mix of relaxation and indulgence. Onboard the luxurious World Voyager, the day is yours to shape. Unwind with a cocktail on the sun-drenched deck, enjoy a dip in the pool, or simply lounge as the ship glides through Norway’s breathtaking waters.
For those seeking rejuvenation, indulge in a pampering spa treatment or join a yoga session on deck, surrounded by endless ocean views. Prefer to do absolutely nothing? That’s an option, too. This is your time to recharge, reconnect, and savor the moment.
Norway is known for the midnight sun, where the sun barely dips below the horizon, casting a golden glow across the sky throughout the night. We’ll throw our own midnight sun celebration and transform this voyage into one of the legendary parties Source is known for.
JUN 25
Kristiansand, Norway
Kristiansand, a radiant coastal city on Norway’s southern tip, embodies Nordic charm and creativity. Recently named one of The New York Times’ “52 Places to Visit in 2026,” this waterfront city blends an inviting seaside lifestyle with a flourishing cultural scene.
Wander through Posebyen, the old town’s whitewashed wooden houses, and follow cobblestone streets to the bustling fiskebrygga (fish market) and lively harbor. The city’s striking new landmark, the Kunstsilo Museum, has transformed a 1930s grain silo into a world-class art space showcasing the Tangen Collection—one of the largest assemblies of Nordic modernism. Its soaring galleries, digital experiences, and rooftop panorama bar offer a fresh perspective on Norwegian art and design.
Across the water, Odderøya Island has evolved from a naval base into a creative hub, home to galleries, cafes, and coastal trails. Whether you’re exploring the region’s artistic spirit, sailing the archipelago, or savoring fresh seafood by the fjord, Kristiansand embodies the modern pulse of Southern Norway—vibrant, inspiring, and deeply connected to the sea.

For adventure seekers, kayaking or paddleboarding through the breathtaking Lysefjord is a must. Explore the UNESCO-listed Bryggen Wharf with its colorful wooden houses, a reminder of the city’s important role as a trading center in the Hanseatic League. Take a ride on the Fløibanen funicular for panoramic views, or wander through the bustling Fish Market to experience the heart of Bergen. With its charming cobblestone streets, world-class museums, and vibrant arts scene, you’ll love Bergen.

Cruising Norway’s Sognefjord to Vik
Cruising along Sognefjord, the “King of the Fjords,” is a truly awe-inspiring experience. This dramatic waterway, with its towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and idyllic villages, offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in all of Norway.
We’ll spend the day in Vik, a picturesque village along the fjord’s edge. Or take a scenic drive to Flåm. Nestled deep within the fjord, Flåm is breathtaking. Surrounded by steep mountainsides, roaring waterfalls, and the tranquil beauty of the Nærøyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Flåm offers a wealth of experiences. Adventure seekers can cycle through scenic routes, while those seeking a more relaxed pace can embark on the Flåm Railway, one of Europe’s most scenic train journeys.
Arrival: 7 am. Departure: 5 pm
JUN 29
Ålesund, Norway
Ålesund rises from the sea in a swirl of turrets, towers, and pastel façades rebuilt after the great fire of 1904.
Here, beauty and creativity flow together. Wander cobblestone streets lined with cafés and galleries, or explore the Art Nouveau Centre to learn how the city transformed tragedy into artistry. A scenic drive leads to the Sunnmøre Open-Air Museum, where centuries-old farmhouses tell the story of Norway’s coastal heritage. For a truly breathtaking view, climb Mount Aksla, offering sweeping vistas of the fjords and the Sunnmøre Alps.
Whether discovering Ålesund’s artistic spirit, visiting the picturesque Saga Islands, or simply soaking up the serene beauty of Norway’s western coast, this day promises to be among the most enchanting of your voyage.
